What we have to offer
The UF SIFE Small Business Consulting program brings together local entrepreneurs and teams of UF SIFE students in an effort to improve local businesses. Many entrepreneurs we have worked with in the past have found it extremely valuable to work with a group of students to gain some insight about how to reach out to their target market, as well as the college-student sector of our community. The deliverables that the teams complete by the end of the semester are well-researched, comprehensive, and specialized for each business. By the time the team presents their findings at the end of the semester, both parties should come away with significant added value.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

We typically begin working with businesses at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters (early September and early January). This year, we are working with the City of Gainesville’s Economic Development Department to put on an educational and networking event for those in our community who are currently, or are interested in becoming, and entrepreneur. This event will be a great resource and will serve and an opportunity to become a part of the UF SIFE Small Business Consulting Program.
