UF SIFE PROJECTS
Making a difference, one project at a timeThe UF SIFE team believes that educating the local children are the key to ensuring a vibrant future for our community. In an effort to reach out to that audience, we have developed and implemented a number of projects aimed at benefitting the students in our community- all the way from kindergarten through 12th grade. We have projects that teach market economics in elementary schools, ethics in middle schools, and financial literacy in high schools. Some of these projects have been successfully executed since the beginning of the UF SIFE program. Others have been only recently developed and are proving to be just as successful.
UF SIFE is a student organization at the University of Florida and is sponsored by the Warrington College of Business Administration. Each semester, the UF SIFE team sponsors projects and events that are relevant to our fellow Gator students. We continually search for new ways to meet the needs of our peers while providing education in association with the pillars of SIFE.
The University of Florida is located in Gainesville, Florida in Alachua County. As members of our community, UF SIFE feels the need to give back during our time spent in Gainesville. The UF SIFE team provides events, resources, and support for a number of different groups within our community. We also look to our community leaders for support when putting on many of our projects. As UF SIFE members continue to graduate and move away, they strive to leave the community a little better that they found it.
